Bambanti Festival 2026 Brings Energy and Culture to the Stage as they perform the Streetdance and Showdown
Fourteen contingents from across Isabela competed in the Bambanti Festival dance competitions on Friday, January 23, 2026, at the Isabela Sports Complex, featuring streetdance and showdown performances.
The program opened with a lively streetdance parade around the venue, which was later followed by each contingent presenting its showdown performance on the main stage.
Alicia won the championships in both the Streetdance and Showdown competitions, presenting routines inspired by the Pagay Festival, which celebrated rice harvest traditions through colorful costumes, rhythmic movements, and creative choreography.
Streetdance Competition saw Alicia declared champion, followed by Jones in second place, Echague in third place, the City of Ilagan in fourth place, and Benito Soliven in fifth place.
In the Showdown Competition, Alicia again secured the championship, with Echague finishing as second-place finisher, Cauayan City in third place, Roxas in fourth place, and Jones in fifth place.
With the cumulative results from both the Streetdance and Showdown events tallied, Echague emerged as the Overall Grand Champion, demonstrating excellence and consistency throughout the festival’s competitions.
Alicia ranked first runner-up overall, while the City of Ilagan placed second runner-up, Cauayan City third runner-up, and Santo Tomas finished fourth runner-up in the overall standings.
The dance competitions featured colorful costumes, coordinated choreography, and large audience attendance throughout the day at the Isabela Sports Complex.
